Who We Are
Cib Label Pty Ltd (ACN 697 586 075, ABN 96 697 586 075) is an Australian clothing brand. Our registered office is SE1, 53 Banksia Rd, Caringbah NSW 2229, Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What We Collect
We collect personal information that you provide to us directly, including your name, email address, shipping address and phone number, when you subscribe to our mailing list, create an account, contact us by chat or email, or place an order. We also receive transaction information, including the items purchased, the date of purchase and the order total, and usage information collected automatically through cookies and tracking pixels, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages and products you view.
We do not hold your full payment card details. Card details are processed and held by the payment provider you select at checkout. We receive only limited payment information, such as the card type and the last four digits, as required to manage orders and refunds.
Where you use our website chat, the conversation and any details provided in it, including your name, contact details and order information, are recorded and processed so that we can respond to your enquiry.
Where you submit a product review, we collect your name and the content of your review, which may be published on our website.
How Your Information Is Used
We use personal information to fulfil orders, administer returns and refunds, communicate with you about your purchase, send marketing communications where you have opted in, respond to enquiries, meet our accounting and tax obligations, and operate and improve our store.
Email and SMS Marketing
Where you subscribe through our website or at checkout, we collect your name, email address and, if provided, your phone number, in order to send marketing communications about our products, offers and news. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).
Email: you may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the foot of any email, our unsubscribe page, or by emailing hello@ciblabel.com.
SMS: you may unsubscribe at any time using the opt-out link included in every marketing message, or by emailing hello@ciblabel.com.
Your marketing preferences may also be managed in your account.

Who Your Information Is Shared With
We disclose personal information to the service providers that support our operations, in each case only to the extent required for the purpose concerned. These are our store platform and hosting, our payment providers, our delivery carriers and fulfilment provider (including, for international orders, the postal service in the destination country), our email and SMS provider, our customer service tools, our advertising and analytics providers, and our accounting platform.
Cookies and Tracking Pixels
Essential cookies are required for the website to operate. They maintain your cart, record your selected region and enable checkout. They cannot be disabled.
Optional cookies and tracking pixels are used to measure how the website is used and to deliver and measure advertising. These may be accepted or declined, and your election may be changed at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page. Cookies may also be blocked through your browser settings. Declining does not restrict your ability to purchase from us.
Your Consent
- Orders. Information provided when placing an order is used to fulfil that order.
- Marketing. Marketing communications are sent to individuals who have opted in, and may be declined at any time.
- Tracking. Optional cookies and tracking pixels may be accepted or declined through the cookie banner, where it is shown, or the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page.
We collect only the personal information reasonably necessary to operate our store. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@ciblabel.com.
Artificial Intelligence
We use artificial intelligence tools in the operation of our store.
- Website chat. Our chat is answered by SmartBot, supplied by BestChat. It receives the content of your enquiry and any details you provide in the conversation, including your name and contact details. Where you give it your order number, it retrieves that order's details from our store in order to answer you.
- Store administration and website development. We use artificial intelligence tools supplied by Anthropic, connected to our store through the Shopify Claude Connector App, to assist us in administering the store, building and maintaining this website, responding to enquiries, and processing orders and returns. These tools can access the customer and order records held in our store.
These tools assist us. Decisions concerning your order, your return, any refund and any store credit are made by a person.
Age Restriction
Our website and services are available only to persons aged 18 years and over. By using our website, subscribing, or placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect, retain or disclose personal information of any person under 18. Where such information has been provided to us without our knowledge, contact hello@ciblabel.com and it will be removed from the systems we control.
Limits of What We Hold and What We Can Do
We have access only to personal information held within systems we directly control. Information held by our service providers is subject to their own privacy practices and retention periods. Financial and transaction records are retained for a minimum of five years in order to meet Australian taxation obligations.
Accessing and Correcting Your Information
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and request its correction where it is inaccurate or out of date, by emailing hello@ciblabel.com. Complaints concerning the handling of personal information may be made to the same address, and are answered in writing. Where a complaint remains unresolved, it may then be referred to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Security
Personal information is held on the platforms we use and is subject to their security measures. No system is entirely secure, and we do not warrant absolute security.
International Transfers
Personal information is disclosed to recipients in Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States. We cannot control the operation of foreign law upon those recipients.
United States Privacy Rights
This section applies to residents of US states with consumer privacy laws, including California, and supplements the rest of this policy.
Categories collected. Identifiers (name, email address, phone number, postal address, IP address and online identifiers), customer records (shipping and billing details), commercial information (purchase and return history), internet activity (interactions with our website and emails) and approximate location derived from IP address. These are collected from you, from your device through cookies and tracking pixels, and from our service providers, for the purposes described in this policy.
Disclosure. Personal information is disclosed to the service providers listed in this policy. Identifiers and internet activity are also made available to advertising partners, including Meta and Google, through cookies and tracking pixels for advertising purposes, which certain US state laws may treat as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of persons under 16.
Retention. Financial and transaction records are retained for a minimum of five years. Other personal information is retained only for as long as required for the purposes described in this policy.
Your rights. Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, and you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information on our Your Privacy Choices page. A Global Privacy Control signal is treated as an opt-out request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Making a request. Requests may be made by emailing hello@ciblabel.com, by you or by an authorised agent with your written permission. We may verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Canada
Personal information of Canadian residents is handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law, including Quebec privacy law. Optional cookies and tracking pixels may be accepted or declined through the cookie banner or the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page. Requests for access to or correction of personal information, and withdrawals of consent, may be made by contacting the Director of Cib Label at hello@ciblabel.com. Personal information may be stored and processed outside Canada, including in Australia and the United States.

This policy may be amended from time to time.
